Inventory
Inventory data is collected from computers by scheduled or manual scans. A missing device is an investigation signal, not proof of theft. Check scan success and the computer before drawing conclusions.
Software
Section titled “Software”Open Inventory → Software (/inventory/software) to find installed applications by name, vendor and version. Select a program to see the computers on which it was found.
Hardware
Section titled “Hardware”Open Inventory → Hardware (/inventory/hardware) to browse processors, graphics adapters, disks, memory and other devices by model. The catalog shows how many computers report each model; open a model to inspect the affected computers. A computer’s hardware page shows its current devices and configuration history. History records additions, removals and serial-confirmed replacements between successful scans, not routine property updates.
Health and issues
Section titled “Health and issues”Inventory → Health (/inventory/health) explains coverage, stale or never-scanned computers and recent scan results. Start a full or selected scan, retry failures, filter results and export CSV. Inventory → Issues (/inventory/issues) collects inventory findings, including patch freshness and software vulnerability rule matches. Findings can be linked to incidents.
Software licenses
Section titled “Software licenses”In Inventory → Licenses (/inventory/licenses), add license entitlements for software found on computers, review usage against purchased quantities and inspect assignments. Select the discovered software when creating a license to avoid mismatched product names.
Scans require working inventory credentials and reachable computers. If a result looks outdated, verify the last successful scan on Health before acting.
